About the role

Responsibilities
- You have overall responsibility for Engineering, Infrastructure, and Operational Excellence
- You work closely with operations, linking strategic vision with operational implementation
- You lead four direct reports and several indirect reports across Technical Service, Infrastructure, Project Engineering, and Continuous Improvement
- You report directly to the COO and act as a strategic and operational sparring partner
- You ensure a stable, safe, and scalable technical foundation across all production and logistics sites
- You develop and implement a digitization and scaling strategy to support quality, staff, and growth
- You plan and deliver production and logistics solutions, including new builds, conversions, and expansions, and ensure their operability and maintainability
Requirements
- You hold at least a Bachelor’s degree (FH/University/ETH) in an engineering discipline such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Process Engineering; additional qualifications such as Lean Six Sigma, project management certifications, or a Master’s degree are an advantage
- You have a minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in industrial production environments with a hands-on component
- You bring a deep understanding of processes, technology, and people
- You have proven success in organizational and process development (CI, Lean, digitalization) and enjoy operational leadership across multiple technical functions
- You have experience in CAPEX planning, technical standards, and lifecycle management and can communicate complex technical topics clearly
- You have very good German language skills and strong stakeholder-management capabilities
