Responsibilities
- Apply your project management abilities by preparing pricing for materials, labor, freight, and fabrication
- Seek out competitive vendors and services to assure that Ahern’s fire protection projects are competitive
- Prepare change orders for customers
- Attend job site meetings
- Verify installation progress
- Maintain labor projections
- Meet with management on a regular basis to discuss project status and due dates
- Participate in turnover meetings as required
- Assist with any follow-up information with the customer as is requested
- Assume an active role in managing the projects in conjunction with the designer and construction superintendent
Requirements
- 3+ years of project management experience in the construction industry or 3+ years of fire sprinkler design experience from a fire sprinkler contractor
- Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- NICET certification is preferred.
