About the role
- Accounting Manager for the Italian Market at Läderach handling financial strategy and compliance. Collaborating with diverse stakeholders while ensuring cash flow and internal controls.
Responsibilities
- You support the development of short- and long-term strategic financial objectives
- You are responsible for preparing the financial statements (balance sheet, profit and loss statement (P&L), and notes)
- You establish, maintain and monitor appropriate internal control systems, identify problem areas, and develop corrective measures
- You oversee liquidity planning, ensure the company's ability to meet payment obligations at all times, and optimize the cash position
- You are responsible for the company's tax matters, minimize risks, and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- You actively drive simplification and standardization initiatives and contribute innovative ideas
- You work closely with various stakeholders as a business partner
Requirements
- You hold a bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics (a master's degree is an advantage)
- Ideally you hold a CPA or equivalent qualification
- You have at least 5 years of experience in finance
- You have experience in the retail and/or FMCG sector
- You have solid knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER and OIC. Experience with SAP FI/CO is a plus
- You work proactively and independently and perform well with minimal supervision
- You are fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
