- Development Producer creating original formats for YouTube channels at LADbible Group. Managing production of pilot series and collaborating with teams to develop engaging content.
Responsibilities
- Create original, returnable format ideas for YouTube channels
- Pitch new ideas to Development Lead and channel teams
- Manage the production process of pilot series
- Co-produce shoots and edits with Creative Producer
- Develop topline ideas into fleshed-out formats
- Plan office run-throughs and gameplay demos
- Build attention-grabbing decks and present to stakeholders
- Work with LAD360 commercial team for integration of partners
- Utilize research and data with Channel Manager to analyze performance and viability of new ideas
- Independently develop larger-scale ‘blue sky’ productions
- Liaise with Marketing for support on new launches
- Identify and nurture on-screen talent for new formats
Requirements
- Substantial experience as a producer
- Thorough knowledge of and passion for YouTube and social media
- Ability to generate repeatable formats with clear beats, story and pacing
- Comfort developing a range of formats - from gameshows to podcasts, sport debate shows to documentaries
- Good eye for design - from pitch decks to studio sets
- Understanding of how graphics, music and sound design can set the tone for formats
- Ability to develop new ideas independently
- Awareness of young audience interests and emerging trends
