Responsibilities
- Create original, entertaining and culturally relevant short-form content for Betches UK
- Ideate, script, self-shoot and edit daily EGC, sketches, reactions and trend-led content
- Feature on-camera as a recurring personality within the Betches UK universe
- Create lo-fi memes, graphics and text-led posts using Canva
- Help shape and evolve the comedic identity of Betches UK
- Closely monitor cultural conversation, TV shows, trending audios, fashion and beauty launches
- Develop sketches, formats and recurring social franchises
- Work alongside the team’s Social Media Journalists on editorial-leaning content
- Contribute to brand growth, recognition and audience engagement through consistent creative work
- Represent Betches UK at PR events, launches and industry moments
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in performance and/or comedy
- A strong track record of coming up with ideas and turning them into short-form videos
- Comfortable self-shooting and editing your own content using CapCut or similar mobile-first tools
- A good grasp of meme formats and lo-fi social posts
- A solid understanding of social platforms and how they behave
- You get the Betches sense of humour, and you know how to adapt that tone into a UK voice
- A collaborative, sociable and hard-working presence
