About the role
- Reimbursement Analyst handling payer-related information for Labcorp. Collaborating across teams to ensure accurate reimbursement processes while analyzing diverse financial data.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison for payer-related information and communication.
- Identify and resolve reimbursement issues and changes impacting stakeholders.
- Facilitate resolution of financial issues between payers, government agencies, and Labcorp.
- Compile, model, validate, and analyze data to identify trends and support informed decision-making.
- Perform research, analysis, trending, and reporting of diverse RCM data.
- Compile complex end-of-month financial reports and present findings to RCM and Finance leadership.
- Respond to specialized data requests under tight deadlines.
- Support AR trending, AR projects, and AR rundown for RCM subsidiaries.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree with 6 years of healthcare billing experience required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present data via Webex and Teams.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Preferred experience in: Data analysis and trending
- Resolving payer reimbursement issues
- Utilizing Xifin RCM billing system
