About the role

  • Supply Chain Program Manager developing strategies and plans with a cross-functional team at L3Harris Maritime. Collaborating with various departments to ensure effective execution of supply chain objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a cross-functional team to develop the Supply Chain strategy and material execution plan for assigned programs.
  • Collaborate across functions as part of the Supply Chain team, serving as a key interface to the Program office, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Contracts, Operations, and the Customer.
  • Function as a Subject Matter Expert in Supply Chain and Programmatic Practices.
  • Responsible for the material plan development and coordination, execution of program material strategies, material cost and schedule, Supply Chain objectives and material enterprise objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations with respect to materials and subcontracts, focusing on risk and opportunity management.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Supply Chain and internal and external customers.
  • Develop the Material Management Plan and execute Supply Chain strategies and actions to support the program lifecycle.
  • Manage the on-time or early completion of all material and subcontract program milestones and deliverables.
  • Analyze key performance indicators and identify challenged areas, championing continued improvements.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance required and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
  • Strong project management skills, outstanding communication (both verbal and written), negotiation, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Strong financial/data analytic skills.
  • Capable of managing and working in a fast-paced, demanding environment with a focus on problem resolution and process improvement.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.
  • Experience with SAP/Costpoint and material processes.
  • Recent experience in Military and Commercial Aviation/Aerospace product development and production is highly desired.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience; or a Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
  • Experience in Supply Chain and/or Program Management execution across a Product Life Cycle (Proposals, Gates, SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, PRR, etc.).
  • Earned Value Management experience.
