About the role

  • Quality Engineer Intern assisting in revising quality processes in Aerospace manufacturing. Collaborating with engineers and analyzing quality performance data to develop improvement plans.

Responsibilities

  • Help with revising quality processes and procedures and other command media
  • Understand what quality processes and procedures are required in the Aerospace manufacturing environment
  • Track open Corrective Actions
  • 8D RCCA process, corrective action plans and implementation
  • Determine root cause for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications
  • Analyze quality performance data for factory
  • Collaborate with Operations Engineers to develop improvement plans for identified problem areas
  • Perform internal audits

Requirements

  • Applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management, Quality Sciences, or related field
  • Preferred Skills: Excel, data analysis and presenting data
  • Understanding of GD&T
