About the role

  • Communications Manager role focusing on strategic communication for the educational sector, particularly elementary schools. Overseeing newsletter production, online content creation, and event communication.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and execution of communications activities, with a particular focus on the primary school sector
  • Editing and distribution of the newsletter for the primary school sector
  • Conception and creation of online content for our website and social media (especially LinkedIn and Instagram)
  • Communications support for on-site events
  • Design and production of promotional materials in collaboration with external service providers
  • Planning and execution of outreach and acquisition activities, and representing Jugend Präsentiert gGmbH at trade fairs

Requirements

  • Completed university degree or equivalent qualification in communications management, public relations, or media
  • Initial experience in communications management
  • Strong writing skills and enthusiasm for producing different types of texts
  • Willingness to travel
  • Team player with a creative mindset
  • Preferable: initial experience working with a content management system and design software (e.g., Canva)
