Responsibilities
The Compliance Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the Compliance function for our rapidly growing, regulated organisation.
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, support policy development, and foster a customer-centric culture.
Collaborate with the Head of Compliance to analyse and interpret relevant regulations.
Support the business with advising on frameworks for customer needs and regulatory requirements.
Partner with the product team on integrating compliance requirements into banking and lending products and services.
Promote a customer-centric approach within the compliance function and across the organisation.
Support the Chief Risk Officer and the Head of Compliance in updating and improving existing policies.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs and support the overall compliance function.
Participate in compliance training and development initiatives for staff.
Requirements
Extensive experience across various facets of the Compliance function, including conduct risk, consumer credit regulations, payments, complaints handling, Treating Customers Fairly, conflicts of interest, financial promotions, anti-bribery and corruption, data protection, and other related areas (not all are required).
Regulatory compliance experience in the banking sector.
Knowledge of the SMCR.
A positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn.
Degree qualified in a relevant subject.
