About the role

  • Compliance Manager ensuring regulatory adherence and supporting policy development within a fintech bank. Collaborating with teams to integrate compliance in products and promote a customer-centric culture.

Responsibilities

  • The Compliance Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the Compliance function for our rapidly growing, regulated organisation.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, support policy development, and foster a customer-centric culture.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Compliance to analyse and interpret relevant regulations.
  • Support the business with advising on frameworks for customer needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with the product team on integrating compliance requirements into banking and lending products and services.
  • Promote a customer-centric approach within the compliance function and across the organisation.
  • Support the Chief Risk Officer and the Head of Compliance in updating and improving existing policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs and support the overall compliance function.
  • Participate in compliance training and development initiatives for staff.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience across various facets of the Compliance function, including conduct risk, consumer credit regulations, payments, complaints handling, Treating Customers Fairly, conflicts of interest, financial promotions, anti-bribery and corruption, data protection, and other related areas (not all are required).
  • Regulatory compliance experience in the banking sector.
  • Knowledge of the SMCR.
  • A positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn.
  • Degree qualified in a relevant subject.
