About the role
- (Junior) Business Controller at Kreuzfahrtberater focused on financial development analysis and operational controlling. Collaborating with finance team and supporting management decisions.
Responsibilities
- Create transparency around the company’s financial development.
- Support management and business units with well-founded decision-making information.
- Participate in operational controlling processes (e.g. monthly closings, forecasts, budget planning and cash flow analyses).
- Prepare reports on company KPIs and cost structures.
- Analyze variances and derive and prepare recommended courses of action.
- Work closely with the Head of Finance, Accounting and Group Controlling (UK).
- Support the digitalization and further development of our controlling and business processes.
Requirements
- Completed degree with a focus on Controlling/Finance or a comparable commercial qualification with further training in the finance field.
- Initial professional experience in controlling or a finance environment.
- Basic understanding of the relationships between P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
- Very good skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Initial experience with DATEV or comparable accounting software is an advantage.
- Very good German skills and at least good English skills, both written and spoken.
- Structured working style with a strong affinity for IT systems and digital tools.
