About the role

  • QLD State Manager leading the Queensland Branch sales team for Konica Minolta. Responsible for achieving sales targets, coaching, and managing the sales team in Brisbane.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and manage the Branch to achieve their sales budget and/or related KPIs.
  • Develop the skills and capabilities of the sales team in line with established sales methodology.
  • Motivate and support the Branch to drive sales and manage internal processes from pre-sales to delivery to ensure success and achievement of targets.
  • Provide timely and accurate completion of business plans, forecasts, internal order processes and customer management.
  • Build and implement business strategies to develop new and existing account growth.
  • Allocate work and projects to the team according to deadlines and business goals.
  • Manage the engagement, retention and performance of employees within the team.
  • Collaborate with other State Managers to drive additional business in traditional office product vertical.
  • Collaborate with Vertical General Managers to drive business in key market areas.
  • Develop relationships with large accounts.
  • Manage the costs relating to the Queensland Branch and look to innovative ways to reduce costs.
  • Lead complex tender submissions.
  • Implement a High Performance Culture strategy in line with a National plan.
  • Work with the State Service Delivery Manager and the Service team to deliver high quality customer service.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership, business acumen and a sense of urgency.
  • Extensive experience in sales, preferably in print industry.
  • Proven track record of overachieving budgets.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal branch and head office stakeholders.
  • Proactive approach to networking with QLD Business and government communities.
  • Exceptional people management skills.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to monitor performance against deadlines and milestones.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Australian driver’s licence.
  • Australian residency.
  • As per Konica Minolta compliance procedures, the successful candidate will be required to undertake background checks.
