Responsibilities
- Develop control system designs

- Define electrical device requirements
- Support estimates, review customer standards, and develop recommendations for productivity improvement and cost reduction
- Complete the software quality process through the execution of complex module, subsystem, and system test procedures
- Can travel up to 70% of the year, working short-duration assignments up to and including multiple 10/4 rotations, depending on the project requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field
- Five (5) years of work experience in the material handling industry or a similar industry
- Experience with Rockwell Automation PLC programming, including GuardLogix and Siemens TIA Portal PLC programming, including Starter
- Experience with Ethernet/IP network architecture
- Experience interpreting electrical schematic drawings and understanding HMI programming
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven interpersonal and customer service skills
- Proven supervisory and leadership skills
