About the role

  • Data and Insights Analyst driving data-driven insights at Dematic in Lithuania. Work with the EMEA region to optimize workflows and deliver actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust data quality frameworks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and trust in all data assets.
  • Drive compliance with governance standards by maintaining data integrity and enforcing best practices.
  • Leverage advanced analytical techniques to collect, clean, and interpret large datasets, uncovering trends and patterns that drive strategic decisions.
  • Transform raw data into meaningful, trusted insights using modern tools and methodologies.
  • Develop insights that are actionable, measurable, and aligned with business objectives, enabling stakeholders to make informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Design and deliver interactive, user-friendly dashboards in Power BI (or the chosen tool) to visualize KPIs and business metrics that drive decision-making.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries for efficient data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
  • Utilize Snowflake and Databricks for scalable data processing and management.
  • Apply programming languages such as Python, Scala, SQL, and R within Databricks to enable advanced analytics, interactive development, and complex data manipulation.
  • Partner with stakeholders to deeply understand business processes and translate requirements into impactful data solutions.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and deliver actionable recommendations.
  • Explore and implement emerging technologies, including AI, Generative AI, and advanced analytics solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in data related or similar IT field.
  • 2+ years of experience in similar role within an established business environment.
  • Full working proficiency in English (compulsory) with 1 other European language (desirable).
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, governance, and analytics platforms.
  • Advanced skills in Power BI, Snowflake, and Databricks.
  • Proficient in at least one programming language: SQL, Python, Scala, or R.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office and Power Platform.
  • Exposure to emerging technologies, including Generative AI.
  • Ability to build and monitor KPI’s.
  • Experience in implementing scalable data processes and frameworks.
  • Experience in managing data quality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
  • Strong stakeholder management capability and the ability to educate and influence teams on data concepts.
