About the role

• Technical Product Owner responsible for product development and stakeholder collaboration. Shaping the product's roadmap while working in an agile environment with a focus on data and technology.

Responsibilities

• You are the central interface between strategy, business and technology
• You gather requirements in collaboration with stakeholders, business analysts, IT architects and engineering managers
• You are responsible for the ongoing implementation and further development of the roadmap, always keeping the customer vision, needs and goals in focus
• You define epics and user stories for the product and are responsible for backlog prioritization and sprint planning
• You support teams with refinements and identify dependencies and risks at an early stage
• You work with motivated, technically excellent colleagues in an agile environment
• You enjoy working independently in companies of different sizes and across various industries

Requirements

• Strong technical and data affinity, especially with modern data and AI solutions (particularly in the Microsoft Azure environment) and familiarity with DevOps practices
• Previous hands-on experience as a software engineer, DevOps engineer / SRE or a similar technical role is desirable
• Ability to see the big picture without losing sight of the details
• Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills, demonstrated by structuring problems and evaluating alternative solutions
• You understand how to build products driven by metrics and KPIs
• Drive the entire product development process with your proactivity and open mindset
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Have strong opinions but a desire to find solutions supported by the team
• Enthusiasm for your work and enjoyment of teamwork
• Fluent in German and English — our teams and projects are increasingly international.
