About the role
- Fach- oder Assistenzarzt für die operative Intensivstation bei Die Kerckhoff-Klinik mit der Möglichkeit zur Erlangung der Zusatzbezeichnung Intensivmedizin. Teilnahme an der Ausbildung von Medizinstudierenden am Campus der Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen.
Responsibilities
- Work and deployment on a state-of-the-art 27-bed intensive care unit
- Guideline-based intensive care treatment of our cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery patients, including transplant medicine and mechanical circulatory support/ventricular assist device (artificial heart) therapy
- Learning and applying advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Opportunity to participate in staffing the regional emergency physician (Notarzt) service
Requirements
- Medical degree and/or German medical license (Approbation)
- Advanced-level resident (Assistenzarzt) in training or board-certified specialist
- Additional qualification in emergency medicine (desirable)
- Team player with initiative and a strong sense of responsibility
- Patient-oriented, communicative, and empathetic personality
