About the role

  • District Manager managing a district agency channel for revenue generation at Kemper Life. Responsible for hiring, training and developing sales managers to engage agents in achieving business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manages a district agency channel responsible for revenue generation and new business achievement
  • Hires and develops sales managers to engage a network of agents
  • Achieves financial and product targets through planning and execution
  • Recruits and supervises sales managers and agents/agencies
  • Implements sales strategies based on agency needs and performance

Requirements

  • 2+ years of multi-agency management or equivalent experience
  • Fully licensed in Life, Health, Property and Casualty required
  • Successful demonstration of 2 or more years of personnel management experience including hiring, training, employee development and managing through disciplinary action
  • Successful leadership of 2 or more direct management reports
