Responsibilities
Assess the structural integrity of components.
Conduct strength, fatigue, creep and defect tolerance assessments.
Write bespoke software tools to assess components.
Deliver and lead projects across Frazer-Nash portfolio.
Meet and communicate with customers to understand requirements.
Work across our business and with our clients.
Support others in the team with project delivery.
Requirements
A degree in engineering or equivalent.
Technical knowledge in the mechanical / structural engineering domain.
Experience with Finite Element Analysis (such as Abaqus, Ansys or SC03).
Experience in different failure mechanisms, such as strength, fatigue (low cycle and high cycle fatigue), creep and fracture.
It would be advantageous, but not essential, if a candidate has: Experience in a technical consultancy environment.
Experience of business development.
Experience of building client relationships.
Experience of project management.
