About the role
- Finance Business Partner managing accounting processes and ensuring compliance with HGB for multiple companies. Focused on process improvement and collaboration with internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for accounting for assigned entities
- Ensure monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code)
- Develop and improve financial processes
- Act as the central point of contact for internal stakeholders and subsidiaries
- Support monthly and annual closings in a coordinating and review capacity
- Oversee accounting valuations and projects, as well as special topics
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in business administration, e.g., Industrial Clerk (Industriekaufmann) or Tax Clerk (Steuerfachangestellter)
- Further qualification in accounting (e.g., Bilanzbuchhalter / certified balance sheet accountant, Tax Advisor) or willingness to pursue such further training
- At least three years of relevant professional experience
- Solid knowledge of financial reporting under HGB (German GAAP)
- Confident user of ERP systems, ideally SAP FI/CO, and very good MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Good German and English language skills; willingness to travel occasionally
- Analytical mindset with a structured and precise way of working
