About the role
- Senior MuleSoft Integration Developer responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions at Kaplan, Inc. Collaborating with architects and analysts to deliver high-performing integrations across systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of MuleSoft integrations and APIs using Mule 4 and Anypoint Platform.
- Translate business requirements into technical integration designs and specifications.
- Implement API-led connectivity architecture (Experience, Process, and System APIs).
- Develop and maintain DataWeave transformations, custom connectors, and reusable assets.
- Configure and manage API Manager, Runtime Manager, and CloudHub deployments.
- Integrate MuleSoft with external systems (e.g., Salesforce, Navision, databases, legacy systems).
- Ensure adherence to security, governance, and coding standards.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions.
- Troubleshoot complex integration issues and perform performance tuning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5–8 years in software development and system integration.
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule 4).
- Strong background integrating enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, and event-driven patterns.
