About the role
- System Engineer managing IT problems and user support across hybrid infrastructure. Focused on multiple locations in Germany with a strong emphasis on customer service and technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Classify and document incoming requests and incidents using our ticketing system
- Analyze and resolve complex IT issues across local and cloud infrastructures from multiple vendors
- Manage and maintain a hybrid infrastructure (Active Directory and Entra ID)
- Provide general user support and assistance with IT questions and problems at various locations
- Work with common solutions from various vendors for virtualization, backup, networking, as well as client and server operating systems
- Create and maintain IT documentation
- Set up and install IT equipment such as PCs, notebooks and smartphones
Requirements
- Completed vocational training, e.g., as an IT specialist for system integration, or further IT qualification with relevant experience in an IT service desk or technical support
- Experience with Microsoft 365 services and with client operating systems Windows 10/11 and server operating systems (from Windows Server 2019)
- Knowledge of and practical experience with Active Directory and Entra ID
- Strong communication skills and customer orientation
- Good German and English skills, both written and spoken; basic Polish is desirable
- Willingness to travel to provide local support to our satellite sites in Coswig, Döbeln, Leisnig and Heinsdorfergrund
- Valid driving license (Class B)
