Responsibilities
Responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB)
Preparation of the complete consolidated report, including notes and management report
Administration and further development of LucaNet as the reporting and consolidation system
Ensuring correct consolidation
Optimizing processes, standards and policies within Group Accounting
Supporting subsidiaries on accounting and consolidation matters
Central point of contact for the external auditor
Participation in post‑merger integration (PMI) and support for M&A transactions
Preparation and development of accounting guidelines and group‑wide policies
Ensuring a smooth month‑end close, including quality assurance of reported data
Requirements
Extensive LucaNet expertise (consolidation & system administration)
Several years of experience in group accounting at an international company or in external audit
Very good knowledge of accounting under German GAAP (HGB)
Proven experience in optimizing consolidation and closing processes
High degree of independence, self‑initiative and a structured way of working
Experienced in working with external auditors
Experience with M&A processes and integration of newly acquired group entities
Confident user of MS Office (especially Excel)
Excellent German and good English skills
At least 5–10 years of professional experience
Successfully completed degree in business, accounting, finance or a related field
Additional qualifications in group accounting, consolidation or financial reporting (e.g., Bilanzbuchhalter / certified accountant) are an advantage
Strong analytical skills and a high affinity for numbers
Strong communicator and confident in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
Hands‑on mentality and strong sense of responsibility
Ability to present complex matters clearly
