About the role
- Logistics Engineer organizing product deployment for Join Digital. Collaborating with vendors and analyzing logistics to enhance supply chain efficiency in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- As a member of the Operations team, support the deployment of Join Digital products at customer locations around the world
- Assist with managing international hardware, and software vendors to support Join Digital’s deployments
- Track all Join Digital deployment hardware from purchase to end of life
- Working closely with the Logistics Engineering Manager, help coordinate supply chain services, inventory control, critical parts availability, material handling, import-export licensing (as needed), shipment of products, and third-party warehousing
- Provide data analysis for infrastructure spend, and vendor performance assessment
- Communicate regularly with vendors to ensure on-time delivery to customers
- Interact with colleagues in other organizations who have face-to-face relationships with customers
Requirements
- Have 0-2 years of experience in the Logistics or Data Analysis area
- B.A. or equivalent experience
- Knowledge and/or experience providing analytical reports
- Display outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible and willing to grow in this role
- Are eager to learn, are accountable and take responsibility
- Are a self-starter and able to work independently
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds and able to move a full pallet
