Responsibilities
- Project leadership and management of new-build and refurbishment projects in a hospital environment
- Project planning, cost and schedule control, and quality assurance
- Preparing reports and decision papers
- Interface management between internal departments and external architects, planning offices, authorities and contractors
- Supporting public tenders and negotiated/direct award procedures, including negotiation processes
- Risk management and development of appropriate measures to secure project delivery
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, guidelines and legal requirements
- Managing project communication and regular reporting to the Head of Construction and Technical Services
Requirements
- Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification
- Several years (min. 3 years) of professional experience coordinating complex construction projects, ideally in the hospital or healthcare sector
- Sound knowledge of AHO Heft Nr. 9, HOAI, VOB, procurement law and building law requirements
- Strong organizational and communication skills and very good German language skills (level C1)
- Proficient user of MS Office applications
- Assertiveness, sense of responsibility and a structured working approach
- Willingness to travel as required by construction projects
