About the role
- Senior SAP Basis Consultant supporting SAP RISE and SAP GROW customers with experience in SAP Basis, HANA, and S/4HANA. Responsible for supporting cloud operations and handling upgrades/conversions.
Responsibilities
- Support SAP Basis activities across ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager, and Fiori
- Perform system installations, copies, refreshes, kernel upgrades, and transport management
- Handle HANA administration, backup/restore, performance tuning, and system replication
- Support SAP RISE customers, including environment coordination, monitoring, and service request management
- Assist with SAP GROW basis task, readiness checks, early-stage stabilization, TDR, Printer & Job management
- Participate in migrations and cloud deployments (AWS or other hyperscalers)
- Execute S/4HANA conversions, system upgrades, and EHP/SP updates
- Provide day-to-day AMS Basis support under SLAs
- Troubleshoot performance, application, and integration issues
- Perform user/role troubleshooting, SAP Router and RFC configuration
- Support integration technologies (RFC, IDOC, ALE/EDI)
Requirements
- 8+ years of SAP Basis experience (ECC + S/4HANA + HANA)
- Strong experience with SAP RISE and SAP GROW customers
- Proven background in S/4HANA upgrades/conversions and system refreshes
- Solid HANA performance, administration, and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in global delivery models and customer-facing communication
- Ability to multitask and work independently in fast-paced environments
- Prior experience in multinational consulting environments
