As a GenAI Consultant, you are responsible for the technical implementation of Generative AI (GenAI) use cases and solutions for internal and customer scenarios.
Your primary focus is on designing, deploying, and optimizing GenAI agents, selecting appropriate Large Language Models (LLMs), developing knowledge bases, integrating data sources, selection and setup of agent-tools, and implementing AI‑driven process automation.
Design, implement, and optimize GenAI agents aligned to use cases and business objectives.
Evaluate and select suitable LLMs based on latency, context, compliance, and cost factors.
Develop and fine tune prompts, system messages, and chains to ensure accuracy and performance.
Build and maintain knowledge bases by connecting to diverse data sources.
Configure and manage MCP (Model Context Protocol) Servers or similar infrastructure to ensure system scalability and data security.
Integrate backend systems via APIs, connectors, and automation frameworks.
Identify and implement AI-driven automation and workflow orchestration opportunities.
Collaborate with technical leads to embed AI capabilities into business and manufacturing processes.
Define technical standards, reusable components, and reference architectures for GenAI solutions.
Requirements
Consultant level (CONS3 or below) – typically 3–5 years total professional experience.
Experience in software development, data/ML, cloud integration, or AI‑based solutions.
Practical exposure to GenAI or LLM frameworks (1–2 years) or strong related experience in AI/ML implementation.
Proficiency in Python.
Understanding of LLM APIs, vector databases, and RAG designs.
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and API development.
Familiarity with embedding models, data pipelines, and AI orchestration frameworks.
Advantageous: DevOps/AWS experience or interest in developing these skills.
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related technical discipline - or equivalent hands-on experience in AI, ML, or software development.
Professional proficiency in English (German beneficial but not mandatory).
