About the role
- Industrialization Engineer responsible for managing product industrialisation projects at Landis+Gyr. Overseeing technical aspects, ensuring manufacturability, drawing up production schedules, and managing resources.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for product industrialisation projects: definition of production processes and equipment, implementation, software development, coordination of actions, etc.
- Managing product industrialisation projects (new or modified).
- Management of multi-disciplinary technical aspects: mechanical, electrical, electronic, software, etc.
- Ensuring that R&D takes into account manufacturability and testability of products during development phase.
- Drawing up and monitoring production schedule.
- Managing resources and reporting on activities.
- Coordination with NPI manager.
- Write specifications for equipment and software for internal and external projects.
Requirements
- Responsibility for product industrialisation projects: definition of production processes and equipment, implementation, software development, coordination of actions, etc.
- Managing product industrialisation projects (new or modified) by taking responsibility for defining and coordinating activities, including:
- Management of multi-disciplinary technical aspects: mechanical, electrical, electronic, software, etc.
- Ensuring that R&D takes into account the manufacturability and testability of products during the development phase
- Drawing up and monitoring a production schedule
- Managing resources
- Reporting on activities
- Coordination with the NPI manager
- Define processes, resources and operating methods
- Write specifications for equipment and software for internal and external projects (service providers).
- Studying workstations and layouts, drawing up electrical diagrams for equipment
- Produce/commission equipment test programmes (C# language, SQL Server database)
- Carrying out/monitoring the fine-tuning of the equipment
- Select suppliers/service providers, negotiate contract terms and conditions and monitor the production of equipment and services
- Ensure that equipment complies with standards, good practice and internal/external/legal guidelines
- Drawing up or validating validation plans for production lines and drafting reports
- Ensure coordination with other company departments (local and/or global LG)
