About the role

  • Land Manager for Uniper managing real estate in Germany. Responsible for development analysis, stakeholder communication, and legal negotiations in property management.

Responsibilities

  • Management of Uniper's land holdings in Germany and representation of the owner's interests
  • Communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders, such as Uniper business units, authorities and landowners
  • Analysis, conception and evaluation of development opportunities within Uniper's existing portfolio as well as on third‑party properties
  • Participation in public planning procedures as a public interest authority (Träger öffentlicher Belange, TÖB) across all levels of statutory planning
  • Active involvement in land‑use planning to ensure optimal site utilization considering economic viability, sustainability and asset realisation
  • Independent, legally secure negotiation and conclusion of purchase, sale, lease, consent and tenancy agreements, including matters relating to ground leases/heritable building rights
  • Professional management and coordination of external real estate service providers
  • Development of strategies for land inventory management and long‑term land investments

Requirements

  • Degree in real estate management, spatial/urban planning, geography, surveying, engineering or a related field
  • Solid understanding of legal, economic, strategic and technical aspects of property development, including knowledge of property valuation
  • Extensive expertise in land‑use planning and spatial planning, with experience collaborating with authorities and public planning bodies
  • Confident negotiator with an independent, structured working style, strong communication skills, team orientation and a solution‑focused approach
  • Very good MS Office skills; ideally experience with land/property information systems (Liegenschaftsinformationssysteme) and a strong sustainability and service mindset
  • High level of commitment, service orientation and willingness to travel
  • Good written and spoken German and English
