Responsibilities
- Mastery of the data lifecycle: Collect, clean, link, and validate data from various sources to ensure a single source of truth.
- Solution engineering: Implement robust data pooling and sampling solutions using user-friendly (self-service) techniques to empower business autonomy.
- Analysis and strategy: Identify trends and anomalies, distill key messages for management, and propose data-driven remediation plans.
- Governance and integrity: Ensure strict data integrity and compliance with industry standards (data governance, GDPR).

Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in data engineering or data analytics.
- Technical skills: Strong proficiency in SQL and familiarity with SAS.
- Advanced tools: Expert-level skills in Excel and VBA for complex data manipulation.
- Architecture: Proven experience building data solutions within complex IT environments using pooling and sampling techniques.
- Languages required: Trilingualism required: fluency in English, French, and Dutch (written and spoken) is mandatory for this Brussels-based role.
