About the role

  • Administrative Director of Finance overseeing budget and implementation of financial plans for Franciscan Health. Analyzing data and advising on accounting principles to ensure financial success.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and approves the annual budget for the Finance Department
  • Analyzes financial data and develops and implements business plans
  • Oversees and manages projects impacting operating margin
  • Advise department and Franciscan Alliance staff on Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Analyze and review programs, projects and process changes
  • Identify legal, reimbursement and tax issues, government reporting requirements
  • Review and analyze finance programs and processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Finance or Accounting - Required
  • Master's Degree Business, Finance, or Accounting or related - Preferred
  • 10 years Finance or Accounting in a physician practice/healthcare setting - Required
  • Understanding of post-acute reimbursement mechanisms - preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - State Licensing Board - Preferred
  • Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) - HFMA - Preferred
  • Healthcare Financial Management Association Certification (HFMA) - Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) - Preferred
  • Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) membership - Preferred
