About the role

  • Business Development Manager in medical technology for emergency services, covering the Centre Val-de-Loire region with client portfolio development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and retain a client portfolio: SDIS, SAMU, ambulance services, hospitals, clinics, EHPAD (nursing homes)
  • Actively prospect within your territory (14 departments)
  • Present and promote the medical devices in the catalog (one-off sales, complex long-cycle deals, introduction of new products)
  • Organize and support clinical trials and field evaluations
  • Negotiate commercial offers, prepare quotations and close sales
  • Ensure customer follow-up, reporting and escalation of field feedback
  • Attend congresses, trade shows and professional events
  • Collaborate with headquarters teams: Customer Service, Technical, Marketing, Quality, Administration

Requirements

  • Essential knowledge of the medical sector and its stakeholders (SDIS, SAMU, biomedical departments, hospitals…)
  • Sales experience is a plus but open to technical/clinical profiles (applications engineer, nurse, former firefighter)
  • Professional English to attend trainings
  • Ability to work independently, well organized, strong interpersonal skills and an interest in technical products
  • Mobility compatible with 2 to 3 nights away from home per week
