About the role
- Clinical Specialist for VELYS Robotics providing expert knowledge in orthopedic digital solutions. Responsible for implementation and training of robotic-assisted surgery in hospitals across Southwest Germany.
Responsibilities
- You act as the Clinical Specialist for VELYS Robotics and serve as the primary point of contact for orthopedic surgeons and hospital staff before, during and after surgical procedures.
- You train and support orthopedic surgeons, OR personnel and other relevant hospital teams in the use of the VELYS Enabling Technology platform solutions.
- During the installation phase you perform first‑level troubleshooting related to the robot‑assisted solution.
- Together with the sales team you take responsibility for after‑sales management of the VELYS Robotic Solution at sites where it has been deployed.
- You serve as the clinical expert in commercialization activities for the VELYS robot.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in knee joint reconstruction and with surgical navigation required
- Proven experience and confidence working in hospital and operating room environments, and in interacting with hospital stakeholders
- Degree in natural sciences, engineering, biomedical engineering, a related field, or vocational training in a medical environment
- Strong technical aptitude and confident handling of technical systems
- Digital mindset / affinity for digital technologies
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
- Driving license
- Willingness to travel up to 80% and flexibility for national travel required
