Responsibilities
Define prioritized process improvement initiatives with actions plans and success metrics
Manage the deployment and training of the production team on new projects
Champion Lean Principles and practices across the organization
Train and coach leaders and operations teams in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
Collaborate with Organizational Managers to design and develop best practices
Ensure consistency and operation continuity of Lean Production Principles
Integrate new processes with existing ones and deploy improvements
Facilitate teaching in both classroom and production environments
Develop policies, systems, and procedures for cost reduction
Promote the lean Everyday Ideas Program through various communications
Create charts, graphs and presentations to communicate process improvements
Assist with developing and providing labor and cost reports to stakeholders
Lead labor analysis, optimization, and workforce productivity initiatives
Champion data-driven and AI-enabled decision-making
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science or related field
Minimum 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible positions in a beef processing facility
Experience implementing process improvement projects
Demonstrated hands-on training delivery
Good written and verbal skills
Ability to understand and perform qualitative data analysis
Outstanding interpersonal, teaching and leadership skills
Ability to influence across departments and various levels of leadership
Strong background in problem solving, planning and organization
Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office applications including Power point and Excel
Lean and/or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt)
Experience with business intelligence tools and dashboard development (Qlik Sense)
Exposure to or working knowledge of AI-driven solutions, advanced analytics, or automation tools
