About the role
- Product Manager managing SmartTub IoT ecosystem, overseeing firmware and mobile application operations. Engaging with cross-functional teams and ensuring high product performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage the ongoing operation and maintenance of SmartTub hardware modules, firmware, and mobile applications across hundreds of spa models.
- Test and validate firmware and app updates, coordinate incremental releases, and ensure smooth rollouts to the installed fleet.
- Advise leadership on product enhancements, deactivate legacy devices, and maintain overall system integrity.
- Collaborate with internal teams and coordinate with external partners to resolve operational issues and ensure consistency.
- Engage with customers and dealers, monitor app store reviews, and develop communication materials.
- Support migrations, analyze support call trends, and recommend process improvements and system upgrades.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in Product Management, Product Development or related fields
- Proven experience as a Sustaining or Product Manager for hardware and software IoT products
- Hands-on knowledge of embedded microcontrollers, cellular IoT devices, and mobile app integration
- Strong technical problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot, write code for issue resolution, and generate actionable reports
- Experience supporting new product introductions, including SKU setup and verification of system operation prior to customer and dealer use
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, post-launch environment
- Ability to navigate complex cross-functional ecosystems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across internal teams and external partners
