About the role

  • Supply Chain Specialist managing supply chain operations at Itron to improve efficiency and support manufacturing. Coordinates daily activities and collaborates with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily supply chain activities including material management, inventory control, and production planning to support manufacturing operations
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional partners—including Operations, Manufacturing, and Procurement—to ensure efficient inbound and outbound material flows
  • Support the configuration, troubleshooting, and enhancement of supply chain systems, including Oracle Fusion SCM, to maintain agile, reliable processes
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain metrics and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and drive innovative, customer‑centered solutions
  • Assist in the integration and alignment of supply chain activities with internally developed MES systems, ensuring accurate data flow and operational transparency
  • Partner with functional groups to assess needs, document requirements, and help prioritize supply chain enhancements
  • Participate in testing, training, and deployment of supply chain tools, reporting dashboards (e.g., Power BI), and workflow automations
  • Provide responsive, accountable support for day‑to‑day supply chain issues, ensuring minimal disruption to production teams and customer deliverables
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of supply chain best practices, Oracle functionality, and manufacturing operations to support continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field
  • 2–4+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory control, production planning, or related manufacturing operations
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and understanding of supply chain processes such as MRP, BOM, planning, and material flow
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, customer‑centric mindset
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross‑functional team
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with accountability for deadlines and accuracy.
