About the role
- Developer - PHP enhancing E-Commerce software systems at ITB-GmbH. Collaborating within a team to develop new features and optimize existing functionalities.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing new features for our e-commerce system following common design patterns and coding principles
- Writing integration and unit tests to ensure code quality
- (Further) development of existing functionalities
- Code refactoring to continuously improve the software
- Active participation in daily stand-ups, code reviews and pull requests
Requirements
- Relevant completed vocational training or a degree (e.g., Business Informatics); alternatively, several years of experience in web development
- Strong experience in web development (PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, HTML, CSS); experience with PHP frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel is desirable
- Bonus points for experience with common testing frameworks, e-commerce systems, or technologies such as Linux, Docker, Confluence or Azure DevOps
