About the role

  • Campaigns Manager for Issue One translating national strategy into on-the-ground action. Focused on coalition building and campaign coordination in Washington, DC region.

Responsibilities

  • Build, foster, organize, and activate coalitions
  • Conduct research to identify strategic coalition partners
  • Manage relationships with key coalitions and partners
  • Coordinate campaign activities and projects
  • Track progress and share updates across teams
  • Lead and maintain partner communications

Requirements

  • Experience supporting or leading advocacy, organizing, or issue-based campaigns
  • Experience building, managing, or participating in coalitions or partnerships
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience working across functions such as communications, policy, legal, etc.
  • Formal education in public policy, political science, law, communications, or related fields preferred but not required
  • Strong cultural competency and relationship-building skills
