About the role

  • Electrical Engineer managing supported systems for the U.S. Coast Guard C5ISC. Providing engineering services and performing systems analysis and design for maritime applications.

Responsibilities

  • Manage supported systems of the C5ISC
  • Provide system engineering, software engineering, hardware engineering, network engineering, test engineering, and electronic engineering services
  • Perform systems requirement analysis, specification development, design, development, integration and testing support for various hardware and software based systems
  • Design, develop, test, and/or operate systems that receive and/or transmit RF signals for communications or navigation purposes
  • Conduct associated power system technology design, development, and evaluation activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Ten (10) years of professional experience as an electrical engineer
  • Knowledge of mobile and fixed RF systems, microprocessor design, digital circuit design, analog circuit design, microwave circuitry, radio frequency circuits
  • A current System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) or equivalent certification
  • Requires U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD government security clearance
