Responsibilities

  • Facilitate, promote, and ensure good clinical practice in research protocols
  • Independently manage different phases of complex clinical trials
  • Mentor coordinators and research assistants
  • Work with partnering institutions on management of multisite trials
  • Participate in meetings related to protocols, training, and compliance
  • Process specimens as required per trial guidelines
  • Administer investigational product and study-related medications

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science
  • 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must adhere to University guidelines and FDA regulations
  • Ability to prepare and process all documentation for clinical trials
  • Coordinate and maintain all required documentation
  • Schedule patient visits and testing as necessary
  • Conduct initiation, monitoring, and closeout visits with sponsors/CROs
  • Ensure proper reporting of adverse events and manage treatment administration
