  • Research Specialist overseeing large-scale breast cancer research studies in a multidisciplinary team environment at the University of Pennsylvania. Involves project management, data analysis, and publications.

Responsibilities

  • Build cohorts for research studies by integrating data from various sources.
  • Perform data cleaning, harmonization, analysis, and interpretation for breast cancer studies.
  • Generate tables, figures, and data visualizations.
  • Draft abstracts, manuscripts, and progress reports.
  • Assist with implementation trials and maintain proper compliance with IRB.
  • Perform project management tasks and coordinate with a multidisciplinary research team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Epidemiology or related field and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Master's Degree in Public Health or Epidemiology preferred.
  • Training in epidemiology and/or biostatistics.
  • Knowledge of breast cancer biology and epidemiology.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record data, imaging research, and implementation science strongly preferred.
