Responsibilities
Responsible for the strategic and operational direction of the assigned commodity groups, with a particular focus on value-adding services
Close collaboration with internal specialist departments and cross-functional teams
Identification of alternative sourcing options and onboarding of service providers with consideration for sustainability and value-creation aspects
Responsible for the continuous development of the supplier and service-provider portfolio
Analysis and evaluation of offers and negotiation outcomes and, based on this, preparation of decision-ready comparative offer analyses
Planning and independently conducting contract and price negotiations with regard to cost and value creation in both project- and framework-agreements
Ensuring compliance with agreed KPIs
Supporting additional procurement projects
Requirements
Degree in Business Administration or Engineering, or comparable vocational training in purchasing
Strong analytical skills, excellent negotiation skills and a results-oriented approach
Outstanding teamwork and communication skills, with an independent and highly structured working style
Confident use of standard MS Office tools and strong IT skills
Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a comparable procurement role and solid expertise in strategic sourcing
Experience in the PV (photovoltaic) industry or in project-based business is an advantage
