About the role

  • Customer Care Specialist assisting travelers with inquiries and bookings at fluege.de. Engaging with customers to provide quality service and support in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

  • You will complete an onboarding class in which you will learn, during the first three months, the knowledge required for the daily work of a Customer Care Specialist.
  • You will mainly handle written customer inquiries in the back office (e.g., cancellations, rebookings, flight time changes).
  • You prioritize quality of advice over quantity and sales.
  • You advise customers on add-on products such as travel protection or car rentals.
  • You assist fluege.de customers with questions about baggage rules, seat assignments, boarding times, etc.
  • You support our 1st-level support / front office with follow-up questions.
  • You independently handle goodwill requests and complaint cases.

Requirements

  • You have professional experience in customer service, a call center, sales, or similar service roles.
  • Ideally, you have already gained experience in tourism.
  • You enjoy working with people, have a service-oriented mindset, and a strong customer focus.
  • You enjoy advising customers and communicate empathetically and professionally.
  • You have good time management and organizational skills.
  • You have very good German and good English skills.
  • You are proficient with computers, the Internet, and MS Office.
