About the role

  • Systems Engineering Consultant managing requirements and implementing system solutions in hybrid roles. Collaborating in professional project teams for technological challenges at INVENSITY.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of requirements management (e.g., DOORS/Polarion): design, manage and implement requirements and customer requests
  • Create, consolidate and maintain requirements at system and subsystem level, including traceability across the entire development lifecycle
  • Design and maintain SysML models: apply appropriate methods and model functional, logical and physical system architectures
  • Plan and manage test activities to ensure the integrity of development processes
  • Work according to the V‑Model and align architecture, requirements, verification and validation
  • Be part of the INVENSITY success story: work in ambitious, professional project teams and support projects through all phases
  • Share and expand your technical expertise: workshops and coaching within your department provide a steep learning curve

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or a related field
  • At least 1.5 years of relevant professional experience in requirements or systems engineering (ideally with exposure to defence projects)
  • Very good knowledge of IBM DOORS / DOORS Next
  • Experience modeling with SysML tools such as Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect or Cameo Systems Modeler is a plus
  • Interest in Safety Engineering (FMEA, FTA), process management, method development and project management
  • Regular on-site presence at customer sites
  • Business-fluent German and fluent English
