Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, and oversees the implementation of complex systems and infrastructure solutions through a program modernization effort across various Ground test environments and operational facilities.
- Ensures the system architecture aligns with the program’s operational requirements.
- Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
- Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
- Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
- Develops, maintains and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.
- Resolves cross-functional technical issues.
- Interfaces with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 5+ years of experience with systems engineering
- 1+ years of experience leading or managing an engineering project or team
- Experience with Systems Design and Architecture
- Experience with system integration, testing, and troubleshooting
- Experience creating and documenting test plans/procedures, executing tests, analyzing results, and/or creating test reports
- Experience in Ground System systems engineering, including requirements analysis, design, and operation
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with an adjudicated CI/FS polygraph
