About the role

  • Legal Counsel providing worldwide support on IT tool implementation and compliance with GDPR for Interroll Group. Focus on creating and enhancing privacy policies and training staff globally.

Responsibilities

  • Provide worldwide advice and support for the introduction and assessment of new IT tools within the Interroll Group, taking into account all relevant data protection requirements
  • Draft and further develop global data protection policies
  • Draft, review and negotiate data protection-related contracts (national and international)
  • Implement GDPR requirements in the German subsidiaries of the Interroll Group
  • Prepare and monitor the required GDPR documentation
  • Support the preparation of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
  • Actively contribute to ensuring and continuously improving legally compliant processes and structures in the area of data protection
  • Create and deliver legally focused, target-group-specific training for employees worldwide, with an emphasis on data protection and the responsible use of artificial intelligence
  • Provide legal advice to the responsible business units on the implementation of relevant IT frameworks, e.g. NIS2, EU AI Act, EU Data Act
  • Implement projects worldwide in collaboration with Interroll sites

Requirements

  • Successfully completed degree in law (e.g., LL.M. in Business Law), fully qualified lawyer (Volljurist) or equivalent
  • Several years of professional experience in the relevant field
  • Solid experience in data protection under the GDPR; certification as a Data Protection Officer is an advantage
  • Experience in information security; ISO 27001 Auditor certification is a plus
  • Structured, independent and highly meticulous working style
  • Strong IT affinity, particularly with respect to AI and information security
  • German and English language skills, minimum level C1
