About the role
- Clinical Counselor providing mental health support at Intellect Care through telehealth and onsite sessions. Collaborating with internal teams to address various clinical cases including anxiety, trauma, and addiction.
Responsibilities
- **What You'll Do**
- Provide 1-on-1 telehealth/or onsite mental health support for Intellect’s clients
- Address a range of clinical cases, including depression, anxiety, trauma, schizophrenia, eating disorders, addiction, and more
- Partner with our internal clinical team to improve the platform and client programs
Requirements
- **Qualifications**
- Counsellor / Psychological Counsellor: Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Psychology or Social Work from a recognized university. Postgraduate certification in counselling is preferred.
- Psychologist / Clinical Psychologist / Psychotherapist: Bachelor’s + Master’s degree in Psychology in accordance with the Swiss Psychology Professions Act (PsyG). Additional specialized postgraduate training is required for psychotherapy or clinical psychology roles.
- **Licensing / Registration**
- The professional title “Psychologist” is regulated under the Swiss Psychology Professions Act (PsyG); candidates must comply with federal and cantonal requirements.
- Psychotherapist roles require advanced specialized training and additional certification.
- Affiliation with the Federation of Swiss Psychologists (FSP) is preferred.
- **Expertise**
- Skilled in evidence-based therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy).
- Comfortable delivering services via online platforms.
- **Languages**
- Professional proficiency in English and German.
- **Preferred Experience**
- Prior experience in adult counselling, EAP environments, or workplace mental health.
- Experience supporting clients across diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.**
