About the role
- Physical Design Integration Engineer involved in CPU designs from RTL to GDS. Leading design implementation and optimization for production-ready CPU architecture in data centers.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical design implementation of custom CPU designs
- Conduct synthesis, place and route, clock tree synthesis, and static timing analysis
- Conduct verification and signoff including formal equivalence verification
- Analyze results and make recommendations to improve CPU microarchitectures
- Work closely with logic, circuit, architecture, and design automation teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Electrical/Computer Engineering with 15+ years relevant work experience, or Master's in Electrical/Computer Engineering with 12+ years relevant work experience
- Experience in Logic Design, VLSI/ASIC Design, Computer Architecture
- Current Industry Experience in one or more ASIC style design flows
- Experience with Unix/Linux, Perl and TCL
- Good leadership and communication skills
