About the role

  • Manager, Workforce Management overseeing forecasting and optimization initiatives. Building relationships with business partners to achieve operational objectives in a growing team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform forecasting analyses of the team’s transformation initiatives, innovations and optimization projects
  • Build relationships with national business partners to understand their business and support their objectives
  • Analyze and review business results and forecast implications
  • Develop long-term forecasts and find ways to achieve business unit objectives
  • Ensure capacity plans are accurate each month
  • Proactively manage a multi-site and multi-skilled team
  • Develop team members’ skills through coaching and optimizing internal processes
  • Make recommendations to optimize business performance
  • Help deploy the workforce management team to new business units

Requirements

  • Extensive management experience
  • Good understanding of Personal Lines and Commercial Lines underwriting
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong command of Excel, good knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
  • Solid analytical, critical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Attention to detail
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is essential
  • In-depth knowledge of workforce management software such as NICE IEX, an asset
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
  • Proven leadership accomplishments
  • No Canadian work experience is required; must be eligible to work in Canada.
