About the role
- Backend Developer (Java) developing scalable and modern apps for fintech company. Engaging in various tech projects while fostering a culture of innovation and development.
Responsibilities
- Participate in diverse projects from various industries, to mention a few: fintech, blockchain, well-being, navigation, e-learning, etc.
- Build scalable and modern apps that are used by tens of thousands of people across the globe (mainly in Europe and the US region) - using Clean Code.
- Help identify improvements in software development, tech stack, and DevOps pipeline and help implement these solutions.
- An opportunity to give workshops or talks to the company's developers on engineering topics you feel confident in.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Java experience (server-side development)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM field.
- Adequate knowledge of Spring / Spring Boot / Micronaut
- Experience with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Solid understanding of multi-threaded Java programming
- Strong appreciation for the importance of testing and documentation in delivering high-quality solutions.
- Fluency in Hungarian and English.
