Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate potential markets and sales opportunities
Develop and execute against an annual sales budget, providing monthly updates to sales leadership to track progress
Initiating and follow - up on leads to drive new business
Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other channels
Use a consultative approach to determine customer requirements and recommend solutions
Capture detailed customer needs and specifications for accurate solution alignment
Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams during order processing
Conduct follow-up to assess customer satisfaction and gather feedback
Document customer suggestions and share insights with the Product Management team
Attend industry conferences and conduct on-site customer visits as needed
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years direct sales or sales related experience
Experience working in or with the salmon id aquaculture industry
Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines in a competent and timely manner
Excellent communication skills (Verbal and written)
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Experience and expertise using the MS Office suite of tools
Ability to travel up to 50%
Specific experience with aquaculture technology including environmental monitoring equipment (preferred)
Experience with salesforce or other CRM tool (preferred)
Bachelor degree in aquaculture, marine science or related field.
